ST. LOUIS - Arch Coal, Inc. (NYSE:ACI) has changed its first quarter webcast and conference call date from April 27 to Wednesday, April 21 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.

Discussing Arch's first quarter financial results will be Steven F. Leer, Arch's president and chief executive officer, and Robert J. Messey, Arch's senior vice president and chief financial officer.

The webcast will be accessible via the "investor" section of the Arch Coal Web site at www.archcoal.com. Following the live event, replays of the webcast will be available on the site for three weeks.
